Hard to believe that Jacob is 11 years old! We had a small gathering of family to celebrate his big day!

Living without Internet is a lot harder than you would imagine. I woke up this morning to no Internet and nothing on my phone either. I feel trapped. I don't even know how to look up a phone number of who to call without the Internet. I can't work without it. I cant place orders. I can't do my banking. I can't advertise my business on facebook. And I can't kill time by looking on Pintrest. So now I am FORCED to go to Starbucks to use their wireless. And then I might need to actually clean the house. Ew!
Rough day!

JoJon's resturaunt
This weekend the boys decided to have a restaurant and make us dinner. They dressed up as waiters, created menus and laminated them, and even made some of the dinner and drinks. I love when they get creative.

Making lemonade out of lemons
Once again our car fails us. Dead battery on a hot hot day! Best solution was to call Dad and get some yogurt to stay cool!

Vacation....
Our first day here we decided to hit the beach, shop and go to CityWalk. Loved it all! The beach was a little too cold so we ended up spending more time shopping. Nike store and converse store were the highlights!
Then had dinner with Dana and family and headed out to City Walk. We had fun walking around and then ended up at Jillian's and bowled the night away!

Roadtrip
So it begins...we are headed to California to visit Dana and family! So excited to see her and catch up! And almost equally excited to relax and get out of the heat.
But every great trip begins with the infamous question, are we there yet? By none other than Jojo! However angry birds and a game of chess has been entertaining them for awhile now.

Summer begins!
Summer begins! First stop, basketball camp at HLS. Jojo was fired up! However, once we got there he cried his eyes out because he was "nervous"! I think he was just scared that he didn't know anyone. After an hour or so- he jumped right in and had the time of his life. Jon was runner up in the free throw contest and Jakes team made it to the championship against jacks team.

Loving Legos
Jojo loves his Legos almost as much as his brother Jacob. He spends the morning building Legos rebuilding and building again.
This morning Jacob discovered that he could build Legos for a living. We googled Master Lego builder online this morning before he went to school. His first question was how much do they make? He was fascinated. I think we have a little architect on our hands. Just as Mrs. Cathone predicted in pre school!

Opening Day
Hard to believe another baseball season is upon us! Arrowhead Little League opening day was today! Jordan was so excited he could hardly stand it! Was awake bright and early and ready to "PLAY BALL"!
He amazes me because he is so comfortable at the field and so independent. He could care less if I'm anywhere in sight and just wants to "play with his friends". He will come see me when he needs a little cash for the "candy store" aka....the Snack Shack. He's our little extrovert!
But part of me was sad today that this will be the last year of t-ball; the last year to see kids play in the dirt or run the wrong way or cry for no reason at all. Where did the time go? I'm not ready for them to grow up yet!

Back to School
Break is over.....Jon and Jake are sad to go back but JoJo is excited and can't wait! I am torn. I love having them home and enjoyed hanging out, being lazy, traveling, shopping and visiting with family and friends.....but I'm also ready to be back on a regular schedule.
Time to get back to work too! Haven't done as much as we should have over the break and so its time to get back to the grind tomorrow. Website to re-do, sales to make, taxes to get done, budgeting to figure out, ads to make and so much more it makes my head spin!
But I have to say that I'm thankful that I have a job and a business that I can call my own and am happy that we can make a descent income with it. We may not be rich but at least we can have and do nice things! We are certainly blessed!

Day 2 of 2012
As I begin the day, I am focused on all the opportunity ahead of me! My goals this week are to get organized and set up a schedule for each part of my life.....kids, hubby, Xavier job, Bling N Ink job and my own workouts and diet. Excited to make changes and move towards my goals this year!
Today's goal: DECLUTTER!
I want to clear the "stuff" out of our house! We don't need it all and it just gets in the way!
I will spend at least 2 hours working on our business and Xavier so I can be organized to "get to work" this week!
And I will eat healthy and take a little time to work out too!
And this evening, we will have a family dinner and celebrate the New Year as a family and do fireworks and discuss our New Year's Resolutions!
Happy Monday!!!

Happy New Year 2012
Time to start the year once again and reflect on the year that has passed and look forward to new resolutions and new adventures of 2012!
2011 was a great year for us all! We remained healthy and continue to stay afloat during the rough economic times. We have a wonderful home and incredible family and friends who love us. Our kids are growing and changing by the minute and constantly amaze us with their new accomplishments! JoJo started Kindergarten and has made great progress and has many new friends. Jacob is a straight A student who is thriving at school and made it to his school spelling bee. And Jonathan made the 7th grade basketball team and is still on honor roll! And all 3 have successfully progressed in their Karate...JoJo is an orange belt and both Jon and Jacob are Camo belts.
We also had a year of 'championship' events! In the Spring- Jonathan's baseball team made it to the championship game! Though they didn't win, they had a great time together!! And in March, I took my team to Nationals and we won in both cheer and pom (dance drill)! And Randy also had the thrill of a successful Rattlers season making it to the final game, but losing in the last 2 seconds. A heart breaker!!!
Our business continues to grow. We are thankful to have many clients and repeat clients and I am trying to learn to master social media and promote our business more. We have done everything from rhinestoning to screen printing for teams, individuals, schools, businesses and sports bars! We have our share of struggles and feel like we are always learning....but that is what its all about, right?
We also had the opportunity to travel as a family this year! We have wonderful friends who have helped us with our accommodations and made it possible. In April we went to Coronado and stayed for a week at the Nestor's condo. We had a great time relaxing and hanging out at the beach! Our favorite place to visit!!! We also took a quick trip to LA to stay at Dana's apartment and visited Hollywood, Venice Beach and did Sea World too! In November, for Randy's 40th, we also went to Coronado to stay with Ann and Jim Randal. It was a great trip and so nice to get away without the kids. And after Christmas, we took the kids to Disneyland for 3 days! It was exhausting but a great time!! We love to travel when we can and have great friends who make it possible for us!
As we move forward, we are hoping to travel to a new place this year and explore something new besides California! We are also making a transition with the business and focusing on Rhinestone apparel. I will continue to juggle coaching and Randy will work with the Rattlers once again. We also hope to start some new traditions....Once a month dinners with family and doing more one on one time with each family member. I am going to try to be really good about sending out cards this year for family and friend birthdays and even send out cards just to let them know I care. I will also take better care of myself this year by taking time for me, working out, eating better and Publish Postreading more.
Here's to an incredible year ahead! Ready to make things happen!!!!!!!!!!
