Silly boys...never normal!

I often try to capture moments that we are all together because I know that these days will go fast and before I know it- they will be headed their separate ways. But it never fails, when I want to capture that moment- they can never be normal! There are only 3 of them and yet someone is always making a face! Perhaps its because I'm ALWAYS trying to take a picture but someday they will thank me, right?

Got Flocked!

Got Flocked! We had seen some others in the neighborhood that 'got flocked' and I was wondering what it was all about and we finally got flocked ourselves. Woke up one morning to see pink flamingos all around our yard thanks to the Hupp family. What a fun idea! The youth group in the neighborhood does this as a fundraiser and will "flock" your friends for $10. It is a fundraiser to send kids to summer camp. Needless to say, the boys thought it was hilarious and JoJo wanted to put one in his room!

Baseball has begun....
Seems sad this year that only JoJo will be playing at Arrowhead this year. Jon is finishing up at Highland Lakes and its like we are just getting started with JoJo! Exciting to see him learn! His first game this year he played 3rd base and did a great job catching balls. However, when the bases were loaded- he caught a ball and heard his coaches yelling, "tag the base". So he threw the ball to first as he had been taught over and over and THEN ran over to tag the base. The crowd was laughing but coach wasn't so happy. But it was great to see him listening and learning and figuring it all out!

Just last weekend he finally made connection with the ball. He had struggled with hitting for the past couple weeks and was able to get a good hit at Saturday's game. It was so exciting to see his face and the excitment he had as he ran to first. To top off the day- he got the game ball ....MVP!
